Delta Training Solutions provide expert training to the corporate, voluntary, public and private sectors in all aspects of the Every Child Matters: Change for Children Programme including the Common Assessment Framework (CAF), Lead Practitioner (LP), Information Sharing and the Contactpoint information sharing index. Under the Children Act 2004, the government have provided a statutory framework for the introduction of this programme within all children’s service providers by the end of December 2008. Our training consultants have extensive experience of working within a wide range of children’s services including the voluntary and private sectors and have project managed the introduction of CAF and LP within a number of schools and agencies in the north east region and also supported the development of a national training programme on behalf of the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF). Using dynamic, experienced and friendly facilitators we can deliver training specifically designed to ensure that your services effectively incorporate the new DCSF processes, using CAF and LP into your existing policies and procedures and that your staff are fully enabled to deliver those services and carry out effective CAF assessments. Training can be delivered at your workplace or within the Sunderland University Complex and can be adapted to meet all your specific needs. We can cater for practitioners, volunteers, supervisors or managers either separately or together and provide basic awareness training or targeted specialist training for those staff who will carry out CAF assessments or perform the role of Lead Practitioner.
